JLL India partners Snapdeal to market real estate properties

Property expert JLL India today revealed a tie-up with online marketplace Snapdeal to sell houses as it looks for to tap the growing e-commerce company in India.

The collaboration would be for the next two years, offering consumers an end-to-end service spanning the entire home search and purchase procedure.

JLL had actually announced previously this month its venture into e-commerce to market homes online through brand-new platform JLLR.co.in.

"... JLL India's Residential Services department has actually partnered with India's largest online marketplace to market residential real estate in India," the expert stated in a statement.

The collaboration would combine Snapdeal's deep penetration into the Indian online customer market and JLL India's proficiency in residential real estate marketing, it added. While Snapdeal will offer a smooth online real estate platform to allow home searches, JLL will arrange directed website check outs, assistance clients negotiate with developers and help with documentation and home mortgages.
Purchasers will not be charged brokerage on deals in the main sales space, which is buy from developers. "E-commerce is developing rapidly and proving to be a major disruptor of traditional markets ... There is no disregarding the power of the Internet and the online market, and we will leave no stone unturned to leverage this power," JLL India Chairman and Country Head AnujPuri said.
This partnership highlights the company's mission to stay future-ready and ahead of the curve, he added. Beginning recently of March, JLL would organize an online fest in partnership with leading designers with best possible offers throughout India and this collaboration is timed making one of the most of this tactical effort.

"The real estate category on Snapdeal has proliferated since its launch in August 2014.
